Client Brief:
My Son My Son is a play written by Veronica Dyas in 2018 and based on Berthold Brecht’s The Mother. For this Dublin adaptation set in the Liberties, we made a range of posters using photographs of the Mother in the market setting taken by photograher Louis Haugh.

Our Response:
We used the typeface ‘discount-store’-typeface IMPACT for the posters as a nod the Liberties market. With a tiny budget for the theatre program we had very few pages and a lot of text and images to fit. We tried to resolve this by using text and headings both horisontally and vertically creating patterns throughout the dense programme
